Constraint breaking mode
To preventfrom producing scheduling solutions that contain clashes and other problems, you usually use in a mode that enforces hard constraints. However, in some circumstances, you might want to break constraints.
For example, if a location can be used by two or more separate groups of students for different activities that occur at the same time, it is acceptable for the location to be double-booked.
Note: Your ability to break constraints is controlled by the permissions that are assigned to you.
To toggle constraint breaking mode, click Constraint Breaking Mode (see below) on the Timetable toolbar. When is in constraint breaking mode, it displays an exclamation mark and Constraint Breaking Mode in the status bar at the bottom of the application window. If a constraint is broken when is in constraint breaking mode, scheduling problems are generated.
