Base

The name of each of the copies contains stem text that other text can be appended to.

The following options are available for the stem text:

  • The name of the item that you selected in the Views pane. For example, if you selected Location from the list at the top of the Views pane, then this option is labelled Location, and the stem text is the name of the location that you selected in the table in the Views pane. The text is displayed in a box beside the option.
  • Activity: The name of the copied activity.
  • Other: Any other text. To specify text, click Other, then type text in the box beside the option.

Separator

The name of each of the copies can contain a separator between the base text and the suffix. To use a separator, select the check box beside the Separator heading, then enter text in the box in the Separator area.

Suffix

The name of each new activity can contain a suffix after the base text. The suffix is a character or number, whose value increments for each copy.

To use a suffix, select the check box beside the Suffix heading, select Character or Number, then modify the corresponding options.

  • In the Start list, select the character that is used for the first copy.

Number options:

  • In the Start list, select the number that is used for the first copy. For example, 1.
  • In the Digits list, select the number of digits that the suffix consists of. For example, if you select 3, the suffix is 001.
