Permission levels

In a multi-user environment, each user is assigned permissions. Your permissions control which commands you can use, and which resources you can access.

For example, if you are a member of the Computing department, you might have permission to allocate any computer lab to an activity. In contrast, a colleague in the Geography department might have no access to the computer labs.
