"Avoid Concurrency" constraint on a student set
Each student set can be allocated to multiple activities. To prevent the student set's activities clashing, these activities must not be scheduled concurrently.
Occasionally, student sets might be modelled in such a way that different student sets are used to represent the same students in different contexts. In this case, you must impose an Avoid Concurrency constraint between any two sets that might have members in common.
To apply an Avoid Concurrency constraint between student sets, follow these steps:
- In the list of student sets, find the row that corresponds to a set that you want to add the constraint to.
- Click the cell in the Avoid Concurrency column. If that column is not present,
add it to the table.
Use the item selector to move student sets to the Associated list.
