The department that the activity is associated with.
To choose a department, select it from the list that Enterprise Course Planner displays when you click the Department property. To create a new department, you must use Enterprise Desktop Reference Data Manager.
Note: Your permission to view an activity in Enterprise Course Planner can depend on the activity's department. When you modify an activity, you might associate it with a department whose activities you have no permission to edit or delete. Consequently, after you save the activity, you cannot edit or delete it.
