Student set starts pattern
A description of the preferred start times for the activities that the student set is allocated to.
For example, at an institution, the periods might be 30 minutes long, and start on the hour and at half-past the hour. The students in the student set might have a preference that activities start on the hour; a starts pattern can describe this. In practice, it would be unusual to set a preferred starts pattern for a student set that is in conflict with the pattern that is set at the institution or module level.
For more information about starts patterns, and for instructions on how to set them, see Module starts pattern.
